Dr Viktor Ko is Labor’s candidate for Curtin.

Viktor is a local doctor, with experience in trauma units at Royal Perth Hospital, as well as general practice in the Curtin electorate. He has seen firsthand the importance of strengthening Medicare and making sure every Western Australian has access to affordable healthcare.

Viktor was born and raised in Australia – the oldest child to Cantonese immigrant parents. He worked hard to eventually become an acute surgical registrar at some of Western Australia’s largest public hospitals.

Viktor has also spent time practicing in WA’s regions – from Albany to the Goldfields.

When COVID hit, Viktor stood up for his community and retrained to work as a GP for Homeless Healthcare. Making sure medical treatment was available for people in his community when they needed it most.

Dr Viktor Ko has a proud history of helping his community – even on their toughest days. His strong commitment to serve others and make Australia’s future stronger and fairer for all will make him a fantastic representative for Curtin in Canberra.
